LOWER FLORIDA KEYS FLATS FISHING REPORT  
March Flats Fishing Report fo the Lower Florida Keysishing

March came in like a lamb. The last several days, the weather and the fishing has been outstanding. water temperatures have been near 80 degrees. Minor cool front today with some N. wind.. But it is warming right back up..

Large migratory tarpon have appeared in the basins and on the flats near deeper channels. These fish have been in the mood to eat!

 

We have been getting shots at tons of tarpon... (literally)

Been a fair amount of permit on the gulf edge.. Here is a pic from Tuesday.. Mike with his first permit..
 
I still have some openings for tarpon season.. also several cancellations..  want to go fishing?
 
April       26th
 
May        7-8,23 and 31th
 
June       7-8,11,13and 24-30th

If you need more days, I can "Hook You Up" with one of my buddies!

I am on the water guiding most days.. Best time to call is around 5:30
