Fly fishing for baby tarpon...  Randy with his first tarpon!

Been finding tarpon out of the wind rolling and crashing bait on the cloudy days..  

                                           Lower Florida Keys fishing ground

Miles and miles of leeward shores to fish, protected from the wind

It has been windy here in the Lower Florida Keys for the last week or so...  

Temperatures have been around 80 degrees, with water temperatures in the mid 70's ..  It has actualy cooled down enough that I have turned of the AC a couple times and opened the sliding glass doors to the living room...   First time since last March..    

                            

Cooler weather brings Barracudas up on the flats.  Been seeing more and more of these big fish in shallow water..

Water temperatures are still good for bonefish and permit...  And will continue that way untill we get our first serious cold fronts..  

                                 

   Bonefish flat.
