Fall in the Keys is my favorite time of year...

"Off Season" here in the Keys..

Bonefish Flat

Not as many tourists... Bars and restaurants are not crowded.

Lodging prices drop this time of year too..

Very few other boats on the water.. OH and the fishing can be REALLY good!

It has been a while since my last fishing  report up date.. Been fishing... Here are a few of the pics from the last week...  

The weather and the fishing has been hot...  Early morning is a good time to look for rolling tarpon.. 

I have been using surface flies...  Mainly Gurglers....

They love surface plugs too...  Been using the Flats Walker by Flats HQ.   Single hooks are easier on the fish and don't catch as much grass... 

Just a few of the bonefish pics from last week...  Been more bonefish on the flats, then I have seen quite a few years...  On the right tides and conditions we can find schools of bonefish pushing, waking and tailing..
